Valar Diploma Policies & FAQs

Upon graduation, students will receive a digital diploma and one complimentary physical diploma mailed to them at the address listed in their student profile. Diplomas are processed at each scheduled graduation date - if you graduate after the scheduled graduation date for your cohort, your diploma will be issued with the next graduating cohort.


Valar Institute partners with Parchment for diploma processing. All notifications regarding the availability of the digital diploma, as well as the printing and subsequent shipping of the physical diploma will be sent via email from Parchment. 


Please confirm your mailing address in your profile prior to graduation! To be sure your physical diploma will be issued on time and have optimal deliverability, your address should be provided with the associated character limits:


Address Line 1 (60 character limit): Typically street address with a house/building number, other information needed to identify the residence

Address Line 2 (60 character limit): Typically additional information regarding an apartment/unit/ room number

City: City of residence 

State/Province (39 character limit): If applicable, provide the state or province of residence

Country: Country of residence

Zip/Postal Code: (10 character limit): A series of letters or digits or both, sometimes including spaces or punctuation, included in a postal address for the purpose of sorting mail

The first issuance of your physical diploma is complementary and sent via standard mail, which does not include tracking information. If you would like to request your diploma be mailed via courier with tracking details included, this is available for an additional charge of $60 USD. Please contact registrar@quantic.edu to get courier shipping added to your diploma order. To ensure the courier shipping is added to your initial diploma shipment, the payment must be made prior to your graduation date. Courier shipping is highly recommended for international deliveries. 


What if my diploma does not arrive?

Valar is not responsible for any delays or non-delivery of diplomas that may occur due to issues related to postal services. Once diplomas are dispatched, the responsibility for their delivery shifts to the postal service. This means that any unforeseen circumstances, such as postal strikes, international shipping delays, or other logistical challenges that may arise during transit, are beyond the control of the school.

Once issued, Parchment will print your physical diploma within 15-21 days, after which shipping times vary based on country. We recommend students allow for 30 days for US-based orders and 6-10 weeks for international shipments. 

If after the indicated time period has passed and your diploma has not arrived, please contact registrar@valar.quantic.edu for assistance. Your diploma can be reprinted and resent to you if it is within nine months of the initial issuance. If more than nine months have passed, additional charges may apply. 


What if my physical diploma is damaged when received?

Please contact Pachment support for assistance with requesting a replacement of your damaged diploma immediately upon receiving the diploma and recognizing damage has occurred during the printing & mailing process. Send a picture of the damaged diploma and email it to diplomaprints@parchment.com, including the DID# or, if you are unable to locate that number, your first name, last name and institution name (Quantic School of Business & Technology). 


Why is the Honors designation not represented on my diploma?

Traditionally, business degree honors distinctions are not displayed on diplomas.This distinction is included on our transcripts, which is the most commonly requested document by employers and other educational institutions looking to verify education information for our students.


What if I’m having trouble claiming my digital diploma?

Please contact Parchment’s support team to receive assistance if you have issues accessing and downloading your digital diploma.


Will I receive my official transcript with my physical diploma?

Diplomas and transcripts are processed separately, as are orders for diploma frames. You will receive an email with more information regarding the purchase of a diploma frame shortly after graduation and can find them available in the Quantic Shop at any time.

Official transcripts must be ordered and are not provided automatically upon graduation. You can request these for a small fee through National Student Clearinghouse here. Additional information regarding official transcripts can be found here.
