What happens if I do poorly in a Concentration?

We encourage you to explore both incorrect and correct answers in regular lessons. However, the final SMARTCASE lessons within each course are graded, and students are required to score 80% or better to pass the course. Only your first SMARTCASE score will be counted towards your final grade, but you can retake SMARTCASES to reinforce your learning and to practice for upcoming exams.

As far as the exams that follow each concentration, we do not allow you to re-take these exams. But, you will have a chance to improve your final score each time you take a new concentration exam, by scoring well on your SMARTCASEs and completing all of your projects and proctored oral examinations.
